In most cases, we will schedule a full 90 minutes for your initial appointment. Our thorough hygienists will perform a comprehensive cleaning, assessment of gum tissue and supporting structures, oral cancer screening and more. They will also provide vital education about how good oral health leads to good overall health. After a visual examination, we will provide any personalized recommendations for treatment (if needed) and then schedule future visits. By the time you’re ready to leave the practice, we strive to leave you feeling knowledgeable and confident about your dental health.
Completing the new patient paperwork is an important first step that will help Dr. McConnell learn everything he needs to know about your dental history, your medical background, and your specific reasons for visiting. For added convenience, we’re happy to offer these files here online as downloadable PDF’s that you can print at home and complete on your own schedule before arriving – just remember to bring them with you for our front desk!
